The Frauenkirche Cathedral
also known as Cathedral of Our Blessed Lady is the largest
Catholic church in Bavarian the capital of Munich. Located

in 1488, construction took over twenty years to complete.

BMW Museum
This Museum has re-opened to the public it is located next
door to the BMW Group Headquarters in Munich. The museum offers
125 original exhibits, various lines of development and
innovative power of the BMW brand throughout its history of 90
plus years. The Motorcycle House tells the story of motorcycle
production at BMW, beginning with the production of engines for
various other manufactures. BMW's first motorcycle bearing the
BMW logo was in 1923.

Hofbrauhaus
Hofbrauhaus is the most famous beer hall in Munich
established in 1644. Munich is beer capital of the world
Germans drink an average of 250 liters of beer per year. Living
up to its reputation offering great beer, traditional food and
oompah music seven days a week. This traditional beer
hall is one of the most visited sites in Munich.
Hofbrauhaus is enormous in size it can serve up to 5,000
people at a time. This very popular beer hall gets crowded
quickly making it hard to find an empty table so get there
early.

Marienplatz
This popular square should be at the top of your must see
list, located right in the center of everything. Munich's best
known square was named after the column of the Virgin Mary which
stands in the middle of the square. One of the most popular
attractions in the square is the mechanical clock also known as
the Glockenspiel, which rings at 11:00a.m., 12:00p.m. and
5:00p.m. From the square you can see several beautiful sites,
located in the nearby open air market are several local
restaurants, bars and shops.

Alte Pinakothek
One of the worlds oldest and greatest art galleries housing
fabulous paintings by Rembrandt, da Vinci and a room full of
paintings by Rubens. On display are more than 800 paintings,
among them are several well known masterpieces of 14th to 18th
Century European paintings. The Alte Pinakothek originally
opened in 1836, and became damaged during the Second World War.
The gallery was rebuilt in 1957 instead of reconstructing the
missing parts of the walls, these areas were replaced with bare
brickwork giving the building visible wound marks.

Munich English
Garden
This English Garden is the largest city park in Europe and
larger than New York's Central Park. This huge park stretches
alongside the river Isar, during the summer months you will see
several of the collage students studying from the adjacent
university. Other people enjoy playing sports such as football,
cricket, frisbee, surfing and horseback riding. The park
includes several beer gardens, Chinese Tower and a nudist area
for sun bathing.

New Town Hall
(Rathaus)
This eye catching, massive building is located on the
Marienplatz in Munich. This Gothic style building is one of
Munich's most famous landmarks and took over forty years to
complete. The hall's 260-foot tower with carillon is one
Munich's most recognizable landmarks. Decorated with gargoyles,
statues and other fun details you can also see the famous
glockenspiel (clock) which shows a joust on the hour a few times
per day. Complete your trip and ride the elevator up to the top
of the tower and enjoy your breathtaking 360 degree view of
Munich and other popular landmarks.
